ACCORDINGLY, man is 'the highest form of animal,' a warm-blooded mammal. It is because lessons in Biology suggest that human beings belong to the kingdom Animalia and class Mammalia.

In addition, men are mammals where their young offspring suck milk from the mother. They belong to genus Homo and species Sapiens. Man's scientific name is Homo sapiens.
