Lyceum pulls down Arellano University

Lyceum of the Philippines University finished its first round campaign in style as it downed Arellano University 82-80 to solidify its playoff bid in the NCAA Season 98 men's basketball tournament Tuesday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

Patrick Montano led the Pirates with 16 points and seven rebounds in almost 20 minutes of action, while former Lyceum juniors stalwarts John Barba and Mclaude Guadana contributed 15 and 14 points, recpectively.
