NEGROS Oriental Gov. Pryde Henry Teves will step down from his post only after it has been ordered by the Supreme Court where his camp has filed a petition for a temporary restraining order.
The governor's counsel, Sarah Manalo, in a press conference held on Monday at the Quezon City Memorial Circle, clarified that Teves has no plan to cling to his post as he acknowledged the ruling of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) annulling his proclamation as the duly-elected provincial governor and giving way to his immediate rival, former governor Roel Degamo.
