Marilao mayor dies in road mishap

THE mayor of Marilao town in Bulacan was killed while his driver/bodyguard and his secretary were injured after their car crashed into a lamp pole along Prince Balagtas Avenue, Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat City, Pampanga, on Sunday afternoon.

The mayor's daughter, Jackielou Silvestre-Guillermo, confirmed the death of her father, Mayor Ricky Silvestre, who was rushed to the Medical City at Clark Freeport Zone but was pronounced dead by the attending physician.
