The chief of the custodial center where former Sen. Leila De Lima was briefly held hostage by a member of the Abu Sayyaf has been relieved, Philippine National Police chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. said on Monday.

"Administratively, we relieved the chief of the custodial center," Azurin said in a radio interview.
