NU staves off UST, nails second straight win

National University staved off University of Santo Tomas, 69-63, to bounce back and take its second win on Sunday in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 85 men's basketball at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Bulldogs led by as many as 18 points but the Growling Tigers chipped away the lead and got within four, 63-67, following a Nic Cabañero trey in the last 10.2 seconds.
