ERRATUM There was an error in the publication of the Oct. 8, 2022
contributed photo, as shown above, titled ‘Disputed Area’ with a caption
that read: ‘A 2019 drone shot of one of the tourist destinations in Barangay
Malico on the top of the Caraballo Mountain. The mountain village can now
be reached through the newly constructed Villa Verde Trail.’ The photo is,
in fact, an aerial shot of Dalton Pass at the boundary of Nueva Ecija and
Nueva Vizcaya and not Barangay Malico as what the caption had indicated.
The Manila Times would like to apologize for the error in the identification
of the photo.
