PHILIPPINE shares closed almost flat with the Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) inching lower by 2.08 points, or 0.04 percent, to settle at 5,932.19, amid lack of catalysts in the market.
"Investors booked some gains on the last trading day of the week to avoid any uncertainties over the weekend while negative cues from the US weighed on sentiment," said Clair Alviar, research associate at Philstocks Financial Inc.
