TELCO company PLDT Inc. (PLDT) reiterated their commitment to support local government units (LGUs) in their thrust to serve their citizens better by providing reliable connectivity and technology solutions, and support their digitization initiatives as mandated by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

In a statement, the company said that in a panel discussing how internet connectivity improves good governance in cities, municipalities and provinces, Dennis Magbatoc, PLDT Enterprise assistant vice president and head of corporate relationship management, underscored the importance of investing in network infrastructure to enable the LGUs and their constituents with digital platforms for their online transactions, e-payments, among others.
