LEGAZPI CITY, Albay: A 24-year-old high school teacher in Claveria town of the island province of Masbate was raped and killed allegedly by a construction worker on World Teachers' Day, Oct. 5, 2022.

LtCol. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, regional spokesman for the Philippine National Police (PNP), identified the victim as Jessica Mangubat, 24, from San Ramon Institute and a resident of Barangay Manapao, Claveria, Masbate.
