'Paghilom,' a timely and relevant short film

A short film entitled 'Paghilom' features in the lead roles former model and beauty queen Jane Umali and former model and member of the Bayanihan Dance Company turned movie actor Tony Boy dela Rea. The movie is written and directed by Danni Ugali and produced by Nette dela Rea.

Umali is very proud of the fact that at age 50 — with four grown-up daughters, one of them following in her footsteps in the beauty and glamor fields — she is doing her first movie. She was 2nd runner-up in the 1989 Mutya by Pilipinas.
