A journalism watchdog based in Germany calls on Philippine authorities to act swiftly on investigating the shooting of veteran radio commentator Percival Mabasa, or popularly known as Percy Lapid.

In a statement on its website on Tuesday, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), through Asia program coordinator Beh Lih Yi, said the country remains one of the most dangerous places for journalists.
