THE Philippine Catholic Church vowed to continue its fight against death penalty despite the lack of allies in the present Congress.
"It's challenging these days but I believe, because we are on the right side, we can do this fight," Gerry Bernabe of the Episcopal Commission on Prison Pastoral Care (ECPPC) said in a statement in the observance of the World Day Against Death Penalty on October 10.
