4 China Coast Guard vessels spotted in Bajo de Masinloc area

THE Philippine Coast Guard monitored four China Coast Guard (CCG) vessels in the vicinity of Bajo de Masinloc (Scarborough Shoal) in the West Philippine Sea during aerial surveillance conducted on Thursday onboard a Cessna 208 Caravan.

In a statement, PCG Commandant Admiral Artemio Abu said two of the CCG vessels were inside Philippine territorial waters in Bajo de Masinloc while two others were outside the area.
