PSEi up 0.02% as Sept inflation hits 6.9%

THE local bourse posted a slight gain on Wednesday, up by 0.87 points, or 0.02 percent, to settle at 5,988.59, affected also by the September inflation print of 6.9 percent or higher than August's 6.3 percent.

The performance of the Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) on Wednesday was a far cry from Tuesday, when it climbed by 204.57 points, or 3.54 percent, to close at 5,987.72 amid continued bargain hunting.
