THE Philippine peso finished Wednesday's trading at P58.65 against the United States dollar, or the same level recorded on Tuesday, amid the country's economy logging a higher inflation rate of 6.9 percent in September.
The local currency opened the day at P58.6 and traded between the P58.39 and P58.78 bands. The average level for the day stood at P58.624.
