Food safety is the next big thing in production

THE Department of Agriculture's (DA) Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) said food safety is the next big thing in the nation's production.

Thus said BPI Director Gerald Glenn Panganiban, who was in this town as the guest speaker during the 1st Philippine Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Summit held from September 21 to 22.
