Countries must push innovation - FAO

TO ensure the sustainability of the global forest sector, countries will need to push innovation and investments, as well as policy coherence, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations said.

In its latest industry report, FAO said the overall consumption of primary processed wood products is expected to grow 37 percent by 2050 in a business-as-usual scenario.
