BACOLOD CITY: Fifteen tenants at the Manokan Country in Bacolod City signed a compromise agreement with the city government through the City Treasurer's Office on how they intend to pay the balance of their arrears.
The Enforcement Team of the Bacolod Legal Office temporarily closed stalls at the iconic site on Monday after 15 of the 18 tenants failed to settle their unpaid rentals that have accumulated since 1996 based on records of the City Treasurer's Office (CTO). Some arrears reached P500,000 to P600,000.
