Chinese firms in EU record growth as sentiment cools

BRUSSELS: Chinese businesses in the European Union (EU) saw growth in 2021 despite recurring coronavirus outbreaks and supply-chain bottlenecks, the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU) said in its annual flagship report last Friday.

According to the report, jointly released by CCCEU and global consultancy firm Roland Berger, Chinese companies' sentiment on the business environment in the 27-member regional bloc plummeted to a three-year low.
