Philex buys P2.5B Silangan shares

PHILEX Mining Corp. announced it subscribed to 75,787 common shares of Silangan Mindanao Exploration Co. Inc. (SMECI) — equivalent to P2.579 billion.

In a disclosure to the local bourse, Philex Mining said the common shares were issued at the price of P34,038 per share.
