A Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) was created in order to shed light into the killing of a veteran radio broadcaster Percival Mabasa, more popularly known as Percy Lapid, who was shot dead in Las Piñas City late Monday, the local police said.
In a phone interview with The Manila Times, Las Piñas City Police chief PCol. Jaime Santos disclosed that assistance from scene of the crime operatives (SOCO) was sought for copies of CCTV footage, recovered fired cartridges, and a cellular phone subject for digital forensic test.
