Justin Brownlee and Scottie Thompson played like beautiful music on both ends of the floor to lift Barangay Ginebra to a morale-boosting 99-91 victory over arch-nemesis Meralco in their 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup match at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday.
Blasted into smithereens by Rain or Shine last Wednesday, 93-71, Ginebra sure learned its lesson after playing solid defense against a Meralco side that is missing the services of Chris Newsome due to a calf injury.
