THE local bourse bounced back on Thursday by 54.57 points to settle at 5,934.25 as investors hunted for bargains after five straight days of market sell-off.
"Positive cues from the US markets overnight also helped lift the bourse, but despite this, the market failed to return above the 6,000 psychological level," Claire Alviar, research associate at Philstocks Financial Inc., said.
