ON September 20, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Parañaque City Government collaborated to distribute Educational Financial Assistance to approximately 712 beneficiaries at San Dionisio Sports Complex in Sucat, Parañaque City.

According to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) head Vivian Gabriel the educational payout was relatively peaceful, orderly, and swift. Gabriel disclosed that the DSWD has released a total amount of P 1,734,000 in Parañaque City of which, the larger portion of payment went to 239 college beneficiaries, totalling P 956,000, 103 senior high school students, totalling P309,000, 156 qualified high school students, totalling P312,000, and 157 elementary students, totalling P157,000.
