Transfer to DoLE great opportunity to address skills-job mismatch – Tesda

THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) welcomed its transfer as an attached agency to the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The agency was originally an attached agency of DoLE but was placed under the supervision of the Cabinet Secretary in 2016 — under the administration of former president Rodrigo Duterte — and then to DTI in 2018.
