Modernization of sugar factories assured

THE Philippine Sugar Millers Association (PSMA) has assured the modernization of sugar mills amid concerns on the age and competitiveness of local industry's facilities.

PSMA Deputy Director for Programs Oscar Cortes said that sugar factories in the country have been undergoing rehabilitation to cope with the changing market environment.
