THE Philippine Red Cross (PRC) and Radio Mindanao Network (RMN) Zamboanga held a bloodletting activity in Zamboanga City on September 14 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of RMN Foundation and the 70th anniversary of RMN Networks.
Dubbed as "RMN Dugtong Buhay 2022," the activity was a collaboration of the two organizations to give workers of RMN an opportunity to volunteer as blood donors and save lives. Eighty-three units of blood were collected, including those from walk-in participants from offices around the PRC Zamboanga City chapter such as the Philippine Marines, Philippine Air Force and the Philippine National Police; these 83 blood units had the capability to save 249 people.
