Senate ratifies bicam report on SIM Registration Act

THE Senate ratified on Wednesday the bicameral conference committee report on the proposed Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Registration Act.

Sen. Mary Grace Poe, chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Services, sponsored the report which finetuned the disagreeing provisions of Senate Bill 1310 and House Bill 14 requiring mandatory SIM registration.
