Senate, House ratify bicam report postponing Barangay, SK polls in Dec

THE Senate and the House of Representatives on Wednesday ratified the bicameral conference committee report on the postponement of the Barangay (village) and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK or youth council) elections in December.

Sen. Joseph Victor 'JV' Ejercito presented the bicam report on the disagreeing provisions of Senate Bill 1306 and House Bill 4673 postponing the December 2022 Barangay and SK polls.
