"KARDING" (international name: Noru) was downgraded from super typhoon to typhoon category after making its second landfall at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that at 10 p.m., "Karding" was estimated in the vicinity of San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija with maximum sustained winds of 175 kilometers per hour with gustiness of up to 215 km/h.
