'Karding' keeps strength, Metro Manila under Signal No. 4

SUPER Typhoon 'Karding' (international name: Noru) maintained its strength as it approached Polillo Islands, prompting weather bureau to place more areas under Signal Number 5. Several cities in Metro Manila were under Sign Number 4.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) placed under Signal Number 5 Polillo Islands; the extreme northern portion of Quezon (the northern and central portions of General Nakar, the northeastern portion of Infanta); the extreme southern portion of Aurora (Dingalan); the eastern portion of Bulacan (Doña Remedios Trinidad, Norzagaray); and the extreme southeastern portion of Nueva Ecija (the southeastern portion of General Tinio).
