The Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City and the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) in Manila suspended classes in all levels on Monday, September 26.
These schools announced the suspension of classes on their respective social media pages as super typhoon Karding intensified and threatened large areas in Luzon. On Sunday, the weather bureau placed Metro Manila under Typhoon Signal Number 3.
