THE Supreme Court has approved the judicial compromise agreement between the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and the Oriental Assurance Corp. on taxes dating as far back as 2007.
In a nine-page ruling signed by Division Clerk of Court Teresita Tuazon, the Court's Second Division denied the motion for reconsideration filed by the BIR for being moot and academic.
