Magat Dam releases water ahead of 'Karding'

DAM officials on Saturday started to release water from Magat Dam in Isabela ahead of the expected impact of severe tropical storm 'Karding' in the affected areas.

In a text message to The Manila Times, National Irrigation Administration-Magat River Integrated Irrigation System Public Information Officer Desiree Cacal said that NIA-MARIIS opened one of the dam's gates at 12 noon on Saturday.
