Abis drains game-winning triple as Altas edge Cardinals

Cedrick Abis drilled the game-winning triple as University of Perpetual Help System Dalta edged Mapua University, 79-77, in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 98 men's basketball tournament on Friday at the FilOil EcoOil Center.

Abis hit the go-ahead three-pointer with 26.1 seconds remaining in the game to give the Altas a 79-77 lead. Perpetual Help then put up a solid defensive stance to seal the Las Piñas-based school's second victory in four games.
