LPA develops into tropical storm, to be called 'Karding'

THE tropical cyclone off Central Luzon has developed into a tropical storm named 'Karding', the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Thursday.

In its 5 p.m. bulletin, Pagasa said Karding is forecast to maintain its westward movement while accelerating until it makes landfall in the vicinity of the east coast of Isabela or Cagayan on Sunday.
