'No more downpayment for indigent patients'

BACOLOD CITY: The Bacolod City government signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with two private hospitals to allow the admission of indigent patients without a deposit.

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez signed the MoA with Metro Bacolod Hospital and Medical Center, represented by Dr. Christine Marie Puey, and the South Bacolod General Hospital, represented by Cherry Pink Nonato, for the initial six-month partnership at the Bacolod City Government Center on Thursday.
