Rice farmers: Restore NFA's regulatory powers

RICE farmers have urged President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. to restore the National Food Authority's (NFA) regulatory powers amid the continued drop in the buying price of palay.

The Mabandi Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MPC) in Pulong Bayabas, San Miguel, Bulacan, and the Federation of Central Luzon Farmers Cooperative (FCLFC) also asked Marcos to increase the farm gate price of clean and dry palay to P23 per kilo.
