Suspect in 2020 slay of journalist arrested

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: One of the three suspects in the 2020 killing of Pangasinan newspaper columnist and radio commentator Virgilio Maganes was arrested on Tuesday, September 13, in Quirino province, police said on September 14.

Col. Jeff Fanged, Pangasinan police director, said Noe Ducay, 45, did not resist arrest when policemen from San Nicolas, Pangasinan, handcuffed him as he walked on a roadside in Barangay Old Ligaya in Aglipay, Quirino.
