PlanSmart to boost disaster rehab

THE launch of the PlanSmart Ready to Rebuild web application is the government's way of revolutionizing its disaster response efforts, the Office of the Press Secretary said Wednesday.

'Our government worked in partnership with the World Bank in creating the 'PlanSmart Ready to Rebuild' web app for a more orderly and quicker disaster rehabilitation and recovery planning of our local governments,' Press Secretary Rose Beatrix 'Trixie' Cruz-Angeles said shortly after the application's launch on Wednesday.
