Cavite accepts SMC proposal to construct new expressway

SAN Miguel Corp. (SMC) confirmed on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, that the provincial government of Cavite has accepted the unsolicited proposal of San Miguel Holdings Corp. (SMHC) to construct the Cavite-Batangas Expressway project.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, SMC said the office of Renato Abutan, chairman of the province's public-private partnership selection committee, accepted the proposal for the development, design, financing, maintenance and construction of the expressway.
