Asean ministers' meet promises closer cooperation

PHNOM PENH: This week's 54th Asean Economic Ministers' (AEM) meeting and related meetings will bring about economic benefits and closer cooperation among Southeast Asian countries, according to a senior Cambodian official.

The meetings, including those for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the East Asia Summit, as well as the AEM-Dialogue Partners Consultations, will be held both in person and virtually from September 14 to 18 in Siem Reap province, northwestern Cambodia.
