Britons get first chance to view queen's coffin

EDINBURGH, Scotland: Mourners on Monday will get their first opportunity to pay respects before the coffin of Queen Elizabeth 2nd as it lies in a Scottish cathedral where King Charles 3rd will preside over a vigil.

Thousands of people are expected to line up for the chance to see the flag-draped casket at Saint Giles' Cathedral in Scotland's capital Edinburgh, a week before her funeral in London.
