Basilan officials turn over surrendered firearms

LOCAL officials in the municipality of Hadji Mohammad Ajul, Basilan have turned over 22 high-powered loose firearms which were surrendered by villagers to the military.

Joint Task Force (JTF) Basilan and 101st Infantry Brigade Commander Brig. Gen. Domingo Gobway said Mayor Talib Pawaki handed over the firearms last Friday.
