(UPDATE) THE IT and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) sector welcomed the decision of the Department of Finance to extend the work-from-home (WFH) policy for business process outsourcing (BPO) firms.
Finance Secretary and Fiscal Incentives Review Board Chairperson Benjamin Diokno issued a memorandum last week allowing BPOs to retain the 70 percent onsite-30 percent WFH arrangement until the FIRB decides on the Philippine Economic Zone Authority's request to extend the WFH setup.
