Philippines intensifies fish sufficiency and food safety efforts

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is leading the country's innovation of the fisheries sector to be sufficient and safe, and to help ease the global food crisis.

Marcos, who is also the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture (DA) said he has an obsession on addressing the issues in fisheries and even sought Indonesia's help to boost the agriculture industry, especifically, the fisheries sector.
