Tansingco named Immigration chief

PRESIDENT Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. has named Norman Garcera Tansingco as commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration (BI), Malacañang announced on Monday.

'We confirm the appointment of Atty. Norman Garcera Tansingco as Commissioner, Bureau of Immigration,' Press Secretary Rose Beatrix 'Trixie' Cruz-Angeles said in a statement.
