7 power plants down, Luzon under yellow, red alerts

The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) issued two yellow alerts and a red alert in the Luzon power grid on Monday after seven power plant units with a combined capacity of 3,627 megawatts (MW) experienced forced outages.

The yellow alerts were for 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
