THE Department of Education (DepEd) has strengthened the implementation of the Enhanced Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (EGPP) in public elementary and secondary schools in Central Luzon as in-person classes resume.
DepEd regional focal person for EGPP Ginno Jape Pacquing said the program has been institutionalized under the Youth Formation Division to address nutritional gaps among school children, especially caused by the Covid-19 pandemic that led to poor reading comprehension in numerous learners.
